The department of History was started in the year 1981. The Department was Established as the allied department to cater the needs of B.A Economics 1968. It is one of the oldest departments in the college. The department has been upgraded to offer post graduate course from the year 2000. The department was headed by many renowned faculties, the heritage still continues.

AIM :

  • To build Historical Thinking skills meant to employability.
  • To bring out curiosity on Historical Monuments and Archaeology.
  • To create Awareness among young minds to look back into their Ancient Historical events.
