Our college library, established in 1963, houses a rich collection of 48,368 volumes of textbooks and reference materials across various disciplines. The library follows an open access system, allowing users to freely browse and choose resources that meet their academic and research needs.
The library is fully automated using LIPS-i-NET software with a barcode scanning facility for smooth and efficient circulation. All documents are bar-coded for quick transactions and effective inventory management.
The library provides an OPAC facility to help users search and locate resources easily. Users can access information about books, periodicals, CDs, floppy disks, audio cassettes, and other learning materials.
The library is equipped with CCTV cameras for security. Internet facilities are available to access e-books and e-journals for research activities of students, scholars, and faculty members.
Wi-Fi is available for accessing digital library resources. The library is an active member of INFLIBNET, DELNET, and the American E-Library consortium, providing access to a large collection of e-books and journals.
The library provides access to 6,000+ e-journals and 30,31,000+ e-books through the INFLIBNET – NLIST platform, which is highly beneficial for staff, PG students, and research scholars.
A dedicated photocopying facility is available, helping students and faculty to take copies of reference pages and question papers for academic use.
